Elsa Campbell 

For me, art making is discovering what hides in plain sight. It is how I make sense of the world - allowing me to remake and reorganize what makes no sense, giving me a clearer understanding of my experiences. My art represents an inner landscape portraying the emotions, reactions, and awareness of what it is to be a feeling person in the world. 

I am a mixed media artist based in East Boston with a studio in the Atlantic Works artist building. My art practice incorporates painting, drawing, photography and collage. Using a variety of materials and mediums allows me to work spontaneously. I am inspired by color, line and shape from imagery that comes from my imagination and from my life.
